The RoHS directive restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in some electrical and electronic products. Due to the nature of our business, specialising in sourcing often decades-old and therefore pre-RoHS directive components, it is not always possible to ensure that all our products are RoHS compliant. However, we will always verify and advise you of the RoHS status of any product you require when we offer you a quotation, as per the manufacturer’s specifications.
WEEE Compliance
The WEEE directive aims to reduce the quantity of waste from electrical and electronic equipment and increase its re-use, recovery, and recycling. In fact, the very nature of our business promotes this by ensuring obsolete electronic components fulfil their life cycle and by ensuring our many repair customers are able to extend the life of equipment they are maintaining.
We ensure all our electronic products are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner at the end of their life cycle and encourage our customers to join us in this endeavour, helping to protect the environment and conserve resources.
